Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – New Grad Friendly | Part-Time | Hybrid | Phoenix, AZ

Emergent Mental Health Services LLC is hiring a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Phoenix, AZ. This role is intentionally designed for new and early-career PMHNPs, while also being a great fit for experienced clinicians looking for structured, flexible work.

This is a hybrid position (in-person + telehealth) with a set schedule, no supervision required, and no on-call or overnight shifts.

Our clinic operates under a Crisis-Lite outpatient model, focused on same-day psychiatric evaluations, short-term stabilization, and clinical decision-making for adults experiencing acute mental health distress that does not require inpatient hospitalization.

***Important: This role does not involve long-term patient panels or ongoing medication management. Care is time-limited, stabilization-focused, and centered on assessment and connection to next-step care.

Schedule

• Part-time: 30 hours per week

• Clinic days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

• Hours: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (6-hour shifts)

• Predictable rotation between in-person and telehealth coverage

Pay & Employment Type

• $60–$80 per hour, based on experience

• W-2 employee position

What You’ll Do

• Conduct same-day psychiatric evaluations

• Support short-term stabilization and medication decision-making

• Perform outpatient risk assessments

• Provide care via telehealth and in-person visits

• Collaborate with therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers

• Complete clear, efficient clinical documentation in the EHR

• Refer clients to ongoing care when appropriate

Qualifications

• PMHNP (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program

• Active Arizona NP license (or license-eligible)

• National PMHNP certification

• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

• Comfortable with telehealth and outpatient workflows

New and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
